AnnotationThe polymeric conjugates of doxorubicin exhibited significantly improved anti-tumour efficacy and lower acute toxicity compared with the free drug. We have shown increased systemic circulation, decreased blood cell and protein binding, and folate-targeted transgene expression using poly(lysine)/DNA complexes surface-modified with these multireactive hydrophilic polymers.
