AnnotationThe nematode Cucullanus maldivensis sp. n. (Cucullanidae) is described from the intestine of a lutjanid fish Macolor niger from off the Maldive Islands. It differs from the most similar species C. bourdini mainly in protruding vulval lips, the location of the first pair of preanal papillae, and having distinctly larger eggs. Additionally, adult females of the nematodes Procamallanus (Spirocamallanus) sp. and Camallanus sp. from Aprion virescens (Lutjanidae) and Elegatis bipinnulata (Carangidae), respectively, were recorded, which are also described and illustrated.
