The text is devoted to the marble portrait medallion of Eliška of Melice (c. 1490, castle in Tovačov). The earliest sculpted portraits in the Renaissance style in Bohemian lands were made by Italian masters, who probably arrived from the royal court in Buda. The Tovačov relief is attributed to a Tuscan sculptor.

Text je věnován mramorovému portrétnímu medailonu Elišky z Melic (kolem 1490, zámek v Tovačově). Nejranější sochařské renesanční portréty v českých zemích vytvořili italští mistři, kteří patrně přišli z královského dvora v Budě. Tovačovský reliéf je připsán toskánskému sochaři.
