    The action of physostigmine on mouse nicotinic acetylcholine receptor expressed in the COS–7 cell line was studiem by the patch-clamp technique. Physostigmine accelerated, by allosteric modulation, the rat of desensitization of whole cell currents induced by acetylcholine and decreased the maximal amplitude in concentration-dependent manner

    Metodou terčíkového zámku (patch-clamp) byly studovány účinky physostigminu na myší svalové nikotinické acetylcholinové receptory exprimované v linii COS–7 buněk. Physostigmin alosterickým mechanismem urychloval desentizaci a snižoval velikost proudů vyvolaných aplikací acetylcholinu
