Impact stress at the contact area of the vibrating vocal folds and vocal folds acceleration are regarded as the most important traumatizing factors in voice production. The study aims to quantify impact stress and acceleration in relation to pressure in lungs, generated sound pressure level, fundamental frequency and prephonatory glottal half-width.
