V tomto článku se zaměřuji na užívání dokonavého nebo nedokonavého vidu ve větách obsahujících verbonominální predikát je marné nebo je zbytečné následovaný infinitivem jako podmětem věty. Korpusová analýza jasně prokázala, že v této větné struktuře je silně preferován vid nedokonavý.
In this article I focus on the use of perfective or imperfective aspect in sentences containing the verbo-nominal predicate je marné (it is futile) or the synonymous je zbytečné (i tis useless) followed with infinitive as the subject of the sentence. The corpus analysis has clearly shown that in this sentence structure the imperfective verb form is strongly prefered.
