    In the study, the layout of Old Czech Bibles from the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries is examined. It shows how the use of Old Czech biblical manuscripts was facilitated by non-biblical additions such as prologues, summaries, lists of pericopes and the Lenten lectionaries, also considering the importance of the Holy Writ in Hussitism.
