The article presents the current approach to judicial review of B2B contracts in the Czech Republic. It refers to the development of the recodification of the Czech Civil Code, which influence the possible extent of judicial review. Not only the regulatory framework is reported, but also the existing judicial review mechanisms for the different types of B2B contract terms, where general principles such as good moral and weaker party protection play an important role. Further, the international application of the Czech rules will be mentioned, and proven, whether the norms on the control of contract content can be understood as overriding mandatory provisions in the sense of Art. 9 Rome I.
