Chromosome numbers/DNA ploidy levels are given for 27 species of angiosperms (families Apiaceae, Asteraceae, Campanulaceae, Lamiaceae, Ranunculaceae and Violaceae). New ploidy levels are presented in two species of Pilosella from Spain. Six karyological records represent a new ploidy level for a given country in Europe, where the respective taxon was collected.
