Studie pojednává o rukopise Reg. lat. 1690 dochovaném ve Vatikánské knihovně. Tento rukopis obsahuje rodinnou kroniku a erbovník rakouského rodu Herbersteinů a dosud nebyl dáván do souvislosti se švédskou knižní kořistí z českých zemí. Jeho analýza však ukázala, že vznikl v roce 1584 z podnětu rakouského rytíře Hieronyma Becka z Leopoldsdorfu, jehož knihovna se později stala součástí knižní sbírky moravského kardinála Františka z Dietrichsteina. Spolu s jeho knižní sbírkou se i tento rukopis stal součástí švédské knižní kořisti.

The article deals with the manuscript of the Vatican Library Reg. lat. 1690, which contains the chronicle and roll of arms of the Austian Herberstein family and has not been associated with the Swedish war booty of books from the Czech lands until now. Nevertheless, its analysis has revealed that in was written in 1584 at the instigation of the Austrian knight Hieronymus Beck von Leopoldsdorf, whose library later became part of the book collection of the Moravian Cardinal Franz von Dietrichstei. Along with his book collection, also this manuscript became part of the Swedish book booty.
