Výzkum uranových materiálů na území dnešní České republiky má dlouhou tradici související s důlními aktivitami na tomto území. Uranové materiály byly vždy objekty zájmu sběratelů a vědců, zejména díky barvící schopnosti, která je činí nápadnými. Tato práce shrnuje historii jejich výzkumu a uvádí významné osobnosti, které se na něm podílely.

There is a long tradition of the research of uranium materials in the area of the current Czech republic, connected with mining activities in this area. Uranium materials were always objects of interest of collectors and scientists, mainly due to colouring abilities making them noticeable. This paper sums up the history of their research and presents eminent personalities involved.
