It shows that the most of ammonium nitrate evaporated after penetration indoors probably due to higher indoor temperatures and fast deposition of gaseous nitric acid on indoor surfaces (Lunden et al., 2003). This could also explain a shift of indoor size distributions to the smaller particles.
