The present study describes a novel procedure of recording the acto-myosin ATPase in heart tissue directly in situ, with the use of UV diodes. Results thus obtained are correlated with structural observations recorded by diffraction of synchrotron radiation; those enable to assess (also in situ) the orientation of myosin-S1 subunits (molecular motors). This is important e.g. in certain cardiomyopathies whose molecular basis has not been satisfactorily understood yet
Studie popisuje nový postup měření aktivity aktomyosinové ATPázy srdeční tkáně přímo in situ, a to pomocí UV diod. Získané výsledky jsou zkorelovány se strukturními pozorováními provedenými pomocí difrakce synchrotronového záření; ta umožňují sledovat (rovněž in situ) orientaci S1 podjednotek myosinu (molekulárních motorů). To je důležité např. u některých kardiomyopatií, jejichž molekulární podstata dosud nebyla uspokojivě pochopena
