Kapitola zkoumá české luteránství a jeho dědice po vytvoření nezávislého Československa v roce 1918. Autor užívá jak historické, tak sociologické metody a věnuje pozornost především Německé evangelické církvi Českobratrské církvi evangelické a dalším denominacím.

The chapter analyses Czech Lutheranism and its inheritors after creation of independent Czechoslovakia in 1918. Author uses both historical and sociological methods and the attention is paied mainly to the German Protestant Church, the Protestant Church of the Czech Brethern and other denominations.
