This contribution shows that the present intricate situation in sample stacking is a heritage of the history where chromatographic and isotachophoretic approaches have been applied more or less independently. Further, this contribution shows that a unified view is possible and a general approach based on a frame with moving self-sharpening boundary may provide the required fundamental theory and criteria needed for successful application of sample stacking. Finally, the prospects of sample stacking are discussed.

Tento příspěvek ukazuje, že současná složitá situace v elektroforetickém stackování je dědictvím minulosti, kdy byly chromatografické a isotachoforetické přístupy používány víceméně nezávisle. Příspěvek dále ukazuje, že je možno formulovat jednotný pohled na problematiku a obecný přístup opírající se o pohybující samozaostřující rozhraní může poskytnout potřebnou základní teorii i kritéria nutná pro úspěšné praktické užití stackingu. Rovněž jsou diskutovány perspektivy stacking-technik.
