    We found that DSE1-gene deletion suppressed the cell integrity defect of isw2d cells. Conversely, overproduction of Dse1p led to cell integrity problems in wild type cells. Similarly to the isw2d mutants, these cells also displayed enlarged birth scars and were able to form buds within the birth scar, which is normally restricted for budding

    Zjistili jsme, že delece genu DSE1 potlačuje defekt buněčné integrity isw2d mutantu. Podobně nadprodukce Dse1 vedla k projevení tohoto defektu v buňkách divokeho typu. Tak jako isw2d mutanty, tyto buňky také vykazují zvětšené zárodečné jizvy a byly schopny pučet v místě zárodečné jizvy, která je normálně pro pučení zakázaná
