We describe the expression and distribution patterns of 3 intermediate filaments (IF) in intact and regenerating muscle spindles of adult female inbred Lewis rats. Our results show that the expression pattern of these IF in regenerating spindle fibers corresponds to that found in regenerating extrafusal fibers, which supports our earlier suggestion that they resemble small diameter extrafusal fibers

Popisujeme expresi nestinu, desminu a vimentinu v kontrolních a regenerujících svalových vřeténkách v zadní končetině potkana. Naše výsledky ukázaly, že průběh exprese IF v intrafuzálních vláknech odpovídá vláknům extrafuzálním, což podporuje náš předpoklad, že regenerovaná intrafuzální vlákna inervovaná pouze motorickými nervovými vlákny odpovídají extrafuzalním vláknům s malými průměry
