Treatment of arthritic rats with seminal immunosuppressivefraction (ISF) attenuated hind paw edema. The thymus mass andserum albumin concentration were restored due to the ISFtreatment. Serum corticosterone as well as NO2/NO3concentrations were reduced by the ISF effect. The expression of IL-6 in peritoneal macrophages was inhibited in arthritic rats after ISF treatment.
