A constitutive equation formed by a combination of the Langevin-statistics-based Arruda-Boyce theory with a term based on the first invariant of the generalized deformation tensor which follows from some tube theories of the constraint effect is shown to give a very good description of a representative selection of published biaxial stress-strain data up to the break of natural and isoprene rubber networks.
