Na základě analýzy písemných pramenů a jiných památek přišla autorka k následujícímu závěru: protože První bulharský stát byl založen na území bývalých byzantských provincií, byzantská politická teorie velmi ovlivnila vývoj bulharské panovnické tituly a symboliky.

Having analysed written sources and other documents the author comes to the following couchesion: as the First Bulgarian State was formed on the territory of the ancient Byzantine provinces, the Byzantine political theory deeply influenced the evolution of the Bulgarian suvereign titules and symbols.
