EAL - vznikla počátkem 90. let dvacátého století. Jejím posláním je výměna informací v teoretický výzkum v oboru legislativy. k významným aktivitám této asociace patří vydání publikací a sborníků z konferencí meznárodní i nadnárodní úrovně.

EAL originated at the beginning of the 90s of the 20th century to support exchange of information and theoretical reserch in the field of legislation. Its activities include the issue of publications and conference proceedings of international and supranational character.
