    In this paper we report long-period gratings written by high-repetition rate RF discharge pumped 10-watt and 100-watt CO2 lasers into proprietary inverted graded-index fibers. The method is mainly based on the thermal shock effect caused by irradiation of the fiber with focused high-frequency CO2 laser beam. Gratings are also made in Corning SMF-28 fiber for comparison sake. Writing is controlled by spectrometric measurements.

    Příspěvek se zabývá přípravou mřížek s dlouhou periodou do IGI vlákna pomocí RF 10-watt a 100 watt CO2 laseru. Metoda přípravy mřížek je založena na teplotním rázu v optickém vláknu způsobeném ozářením vlákna fokusovaným CO2 laserovým paprskem. Pro srovnání byly mřížky zapisovány i do vlákna Corning SMF-28.
