    A laboratory study was done on fluidized bed (FB) gasification of German coal, wood and coal-wood mixtures with higher concentrations of CO2 in gasification medium (CO2 + O2 + N2)at oxygen equivalent ratio (ER) around 0.2 and temperatures between 800 and 900 oC on dolomitic particles. Attention was concentrated on effects of CO2 concentrations in inlet gas and gasification temperature on producer gas heating value (LHV), energy yield, tar and BTX yields in comparison with FB gasification with steam-O2 mixtures. The LHV of the resulting dry producer gas from the CO2-O2 gasification is lower in comparison with gasification by steam-O2 mixtures. The yield of BTX (benzene+toluene+xylenes) and heavier tar compounds in FB gasification on a calcined dolomite particle bed with CO2-O2 mixture was comparable or moderately lower than for steam-O2 gasification.
