NaxCa1-2xLux)F2 (x=1/6, 1/4,1/3)and(NaxCa1-x-yLuy-0.05Ce0.05)F2+y-x (x=0.32, y=0.43) single crystals were grown from the melt using the precise atmosphere controlled type Micro-Pulling-Down (m-PD) method to investigate their potential as a host material of scintillators.
