The survey of Sherabad district of Surkhandarya province in South Uzbekistan catalogued traces of monuments in the terrain, to a large extent unknown or not yet investigated. The project combines satellite imagery, field survey with non destructive methods. A large number of sites has been identified and catalogued as a preparation for an archaeological map of the area.
