This study, based on a morphologiocal approach for identification of the nematode parasite Parapharyngodon micipsae (Seurat 1917) reports the first rekord of P. micipsae in a West African species of gekko, Tarentola parvicarinata Joger 1980 (Gekkonidae), collected in the Nikolo Koba National Park, Senegal. Specimen of P. micipsae were examined under light microscope and for the firs time with a scannig electron microscope.
