Results of comparative damage detection case study.

Description: The presented dataset is the result of a research project focused on a newly designed moving impact load (MIL) bridge testing method, which was investigated for the purpose of damage detection. A model test bridge consisting of a simply supported steel girder that was gradually damaged was used to assess the effectiveness of the method in indicating and locating the damage caused. The dataset containing the results of the Cogwheel load measurements (MIL type) is available to researchers working in the field of Structural Health Monitoring for information, comparison and possibly also for comparative studies using other damage detection methods.
Technical informations: The Excel spreadsheet contains the basic parameters documenting the frequency shifts caused by the gradual damage of the girder. The directories contain Matlab files with measured and evaluated data from above mentioned damage detection study and the Cogwheel loading. Detailed description of the variables in Matlab files is available upon request.
