Difrakční optický element vytvořený pikosekundovým obráběním na vlnové délce 257 nm pro tvarování optického svazku.

Technical parameters: Fázová a difrakční maska sloužící ke korekci optických vad konkrétního objektivu. Vzniká hloubkovým strukturovaným gravírováním taveného křemene dle optického návrhu. Slouží pro kompenzaci optických vad daného objektivu a obecně pro tvarování rovnoběžného optického svazku. Pro obrábění použitá vlnová délka 257 nm umožňuje díky malé velikosti ohniskového spotu a vhodným charakteristikám absorpce záření (který fyzikálně souvisí s použitou vlnovou délkou) vytvářet požadované mikrostruktury s potřebnou přesností a velikostí. Vnější rozměry masky jsou 8x8 mm2, maximální hloubka elementu designovaného pro vln. délku 532 nm činí 266 nm, která je rozdělena do 64 úrovní. Vstupní data pro obrábění jsou tvořena bitmapou - pro tuto velikost činí rozlišení 512x512 px (cca 16 um/px). Níže snímek části struktury z konfokálního laserového skenovacího mikroskopu.
