    AnnotationThe article summarizes the topics which are studied through “judicial archaeology” in the Czech Republic and Poland from the archaeological perspective. It primarily focuses on the archaeology of the execution sites. The basic overview of the archaeological research in this field over the last 20 years also includes the main results of the latest archaeological excavations, some of them published only partially or unpublished till now. Finally, the executioner’s houses and burials are also mentioned.
