Concerning the fomite transmission route, the guidance aligns with the great majority of studies devoted to the subject of environmental contamination by SARS-CoV-2, inferring the theoretical possibility of Covid-19 transmission. The question of fomite transmission should be reframed in terms of its probability or risk.
