První část je věnována postavení teatriky v Hugonově konceptu mechanických umění (artes mechanicae) v jeho díle Didascalicon a pramenům, z nichž Hugo od sv. Viktora čerpal (Sv. Augustin, Isidor ze Sevilly, Jan Scotus Eriguena). Následující část pojednává o recepci teatriky ve středověkých klasifikacích umění, ať již byla tato kategorie zahrnuta do sedmi mechanických umění či vyloučena. Diskuse se dále zaměřuje na tradici Hugonova díla a zejména teatriky ve středověkých Čechách. Podrobnější pozornost je věnována dvěma rukopisům z pražské Národní knihovny z 15. století (sign. I F 8, I E 39) obsahujícím výpisy z Hugonova pojednání o mechanických umění a teatrice a dále anonymnímu schématu svobodných a mechanických uměních dochovaném v rukopisu z třeboňského archivu z 15. století. Description in English The article deals with the reception of theatrica in medieval manuscript sources of Bohemia dating from 14-15th century. The first part of the article comments on the place of theatrica in Hugh’s concept of mechanical arts (artes mechanicae) in his Didascalicon and the sources that Hugh of Saint Victor drew from (St. Augustine, Isidore of Seville, John Scotus Eriguena). The following part of the article discusses the reception of Hugh’s theatrica in medieval classifications of arts, whether the category was includes into seven mechanical arts or rejected. Further, discussion shifts to the tradition of Hugh’s work and especially theatrica in medieval Bohemia. Special attention is paid to two manuscripts of National Library of Prague from 15th century (shelf-mark I F 8, I E 39) containing extracts of Hugh’s treatise on mechanical arts and theatrica and further on an anonymous scheme of liberal and mechanical arts preserved in a 15th century manuscript of the Třeboň Archive.
