Annotation	Article deals with different theoretical approaches presented by various political scientists, philosophers, economists and sociologists in the conference '1989: Thinking Revolution in East-Central Europe' hold in Prague in November 2014. Paper outlines theoretical concepts presented there in order to grasp richness of approaches explaining reasons and consequences of revolutions in Eastern Block in 1989, and subsequent transformation processes.
