    AnnotationPředneseno:7th International Workshop and Exhibition on Plasma Assisted Combustion,Las Vegas,str.47-49,13-15.09.2011; The paper describes thermal upgrading of pyrolytic oil obtained from pyrolysis of scrap tires. The oil was gasified in a plasma reactor with gas-water dc plasma torch and the produced syngas had high content of hydrogen as well as carbon monoxide. The media used for partial oxidation of surplus of carbon were water, carbon dioxide and oxygen. The efficiency of carbon gasification, the syngas composition and flowrate are compared for different operating conditions.
