Mice carrying MK 16 tumours were injected with DC or DC pulsed with MK 16 tumour lysate. Both vaccines inhibited growth of MK 16 transplants, the pulsed DC being more efficient. DC vaccines pulsed with HPV 16 thus seem to be a prospective modality for treatment of HPV 16-associated carcinoma.
