Description in English This study was aimed at the monitoring of aluminium species during water treatment of the water with higher concentration of natural aluminium. Jar tests were used to determine the optimal conditions of coagulation. Residual aluminium concentration and the speciation of aluminium were monitored through the treatment at the water treatment plant Kozicin and during the jar tests. The results indicate that the concentration of organic matter and all aluminium fractions decreased after water treatment (the efficiencies of total Al removing were 76.8 and 70% after the jar tests and operational treatment, respectively). The results also showed that the representation of aluminium fractions have changed during the treatment process. The removing efficiencies of all aluminium fractions were between 21 to 95% and the organic dissolved aluminium was generally the best removed fraction of aluminium.
