AnnotationThe aim of the study was to test hematopoiesis-stimulating and radioprotective effects of adamantylamide dipeptide (AdDP). It was found out that AdDP increases numbers of hematopoietic progenitor cells in sublethally irradiated mice and enhances survival after their exposure to a lethal dose of ionizing radiation. The results obtained suggest the possibility to enrich the spectrum of clinical indications for administration of AdDP with the states of myelosuppression of various etiology.
