Zásadní politické, kulturní a společenské transformace se v tomto období opakovaně dotýkaly literárních a kulturních periodik i denního tisku. Poválečné období se vyznačovalo rychlou obnovou literárního a kulturního života, jakož i rychlým nárůstem vydávání literárních textů. Po roce 1948 však sílily snahy o omezení svobody a šíření vlastního díla. To vyvrcholilo v roce 1952. Poté došlo k jistému oživení literární tvorby, která zůstala v druhé polovině 50. let v podstatě stabilní. Kromě obecných kvantitativních údajů sleduje tato studie změny v úzce zaměřených souborech dat, zejména těch, které se týkají publikování poezie v daném období. Description in English This study, based on the quantitative analysis of bibliographic data, investigates changes in the way Czech literature was published in the period 1945–1959. Fundamental political, cultural, and social transformations during this period repeatedly impacted literary and cultural periodicals, as well as the daily press. The immediate post-war period, characterized by the swift renewal of lite- rary and cultural life, as well as a rapid increase in the publication of literary texts, was in 1948 followed by growing restrictions on the freedom to disseminate one’s own work, peaking in 1952. After this, there was a certain revival of literary production, which remained essentially stable in the second half of the 1950s. In addition to general quantitative data, this study tracks changes in more narrowly focused data sets, especially those concerning the publication of poetry during the period in question.
