AnnotationThe Czech Plant Nucleus Workshop 2021 (CPNW2021) took place during mid-September 2021 in Olomouc, Czech Republic. About 80 researchers and students working in the field of plant nuclear and chromosome biology in the Czech Republic gathered together to present and discuss their current research. The meeting revealed many plant models that are used to study plant genomes and their organization, and also a great diversity of topics including epigenetic regulation of gene expression, genome stability, telomere biology, or sex chromosomes. CPNW2021 provided a broad
platform for establishing new research contacts and collaborations. Here, we summarize the main research directions and findings presented at the CPNW2021 meeting.
