Je vyprávěním o svébytném stylu malované portrétní miniatury a o způsobech jejího napodobování, jejichž rozvoj přímo souvisel s nástupem fotografických technik a materiálů v 2. polovině 19. století. Záběry z antiku a kavárny zařízené prvorepublikovém stylu se střídají s úryvky ze starých černobílých filmů. Ostrým střihem se pak přeneseme do prostor laboratoře, ve které se miniatury analyzují moderními neinvazivními analytickými metodami. Description in English The 12-minute stylized documentary was made as an accompanying film to the exhibition Copies and Counterfeitsin Portrait Miniature. It is a story about the distinctive style of a painted portrait miniature and the ways of its imitation,the development of which was directly connected with the advent of photographic techniques and materials in the second half of the 19th century. Shots from antiquity and a café decorated in the First Republic style alternate with excerpts from old black and white films. With a sharp cut, we then transfer to the laboratory, where the miniatures are analyzed by modern non-invasive analytical methods.
