At the Center for Jewish Art, he mainly deals with research and documentation of synagogues, cemeteries and Jewish ritual objects. The great success of the Center is the Bezalel Narkiss Index of Jewish Art which now includes c. 340,000 images of objects belonging to the field of Jewish visual culture.
