Annotation	The document introduces various aspects of gender dimension in cancer research, one of the Horizon Europe Missions. It explains what sex, gender and their interaction in cancer research mean and brings examples of research that successfully uses these variables. In its conclusion, it offers recommendations on how to integrate gender in Framework conditions for Missions, Mission Work programmes, project portfolios and evaluation.
