Výsledkem procesu je sušená Description in English The process technology describes the technological procedure of heterotrophic cultivation of the patented strain Parachlorella kessleri HY1 with increased content of lutein in the fed-batch mode. The description includes the media composition, the inoculum propagation in the Erlenmeyer flasks, the media composition and sterilization in the bioreactor in the initial stage of cultivation, culture conditions, time, amount and type of nutrients used for feeding the culture. The procedure is set-up for a production in the bioreactor with the volume of 1000 liters. Furthermore is described, the process of harvesting the biomass via the centrifugation on a DeLaval plate industrial centrifuge and the process of spray drying the concentrated biomass by the Gea Niro Atomizer VSD-6.3-R spray dryer. The final product of the process is dried non-disintegrated biomass with increased lutein content produced in food grade quality, intended for direct consumption or for further industrial processing into food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic or feed products.
