Obsahuje především dosud nepublikované písně ze sbírkových a dokumentačních fondů brněnského pracoviště Etnologického ústavu AV ČR. Jde o písňové záznamy zapsané v lidové zpěvní tradici za téměř dvě stě let: od tzv. guberniálního sběru v roce 1819 přes aktivity Janáčkem vedeného Pracovního výboru pro českou národní píseň na Moravě a ve Slezsku v rámci edičního podniku Das Volkslied in Österreich a na něj navazujícího Státního ústavu pro lidovou píseň až po sběry pracovníků či spolupracovníků pozdějšího Ústavu pro etnografii a folkloristiku ČSAV, který se v roce 1999 proměnil v dnešní Etnologický ústav AV ČR. Description in English The volume, published in cooperation of the Institute of Ethnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences with the Zlín Region, presents folk songs recorded in writing in the district of Uherské Hradiště. It predominantly includes songs that have not been published yet, taken from the collections and documents of the Brno branch of the Institute of Ethnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences. These are song records that reflect almost two hundred years of the folk singing tradition: from the 1819 governorate collecting project, to the activities of the Working Committee for the Czech National Folk song in Moravia and Silesia headed by Leoš Janáček as part of the Das Volkslied in Österreich editing project, up to the collecting efforts of the workers and co-workers of the former Institute for Ethnography and Folkloristics of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences, that in 1999 was transformed in what today is the Institute of Ethnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
