Description in English Author of the paper explains how Patočka took up the intention to outline a philosophy of European history and follows the development of his philosophical inquiry on this topic from the end of 1960s until his death in 1977. In the end of the paper the author made attempt at his own avaluating interpretation of the contemporary historical trends.
