Vysokého. Sleduje nejprve předávání tragických textů od momentu jejich první divadelní produkce, přes Lykúrgův výnos a Alexandrijskou redakci, až k středověkým rukopisům. Ukazuje postupné zužování korpusu tragických textů, aby tak připravila půdu pro detailní studii dvou hlavních skupin fragmentů, knižních a papyrových fragmentů. Diskuse papyrových fragmentů přitom umožnila naznačit jak dějiny papyrologie a nejvýznamnějších papyrových nálezů, a zároveň uvést čtenáře do hlavních metod papyrologie. Poslední část kapitoly je věnována zhodnocení Vysokého přístupu k řecké tragédii. Description in English The chapter offers a detailed overview of the textual tradition and textual criticism of the Greek tragedies, setting the critical approaches of Zdeněk K. Vysoký in wider context. The chapter traces the transmission of tragic texts since the moment of the first production through the Decree of Lycurgus and Alexandrian editing to the medieval manuscripts. It shows the gradual narrowing of the corpus of tragic texts to prepare the ground for the following detailed study of the two main groups of fragments, the book-fragments and papyrus fragments. The discussion of the latter also served as an opportunity to sketch not only a history of papyrology and the most important papyrus finds as far as Greek tragedy is concerned, but also to introduce the reader to the main methods of papyrology itself. The last part of the chapter evaluates Vysoký’s approach to Greek tragedy.
