The aim of this study was to prepare new antimicrobial low density polyethylene (LDPE) nanocomposites when antimicrobial vermiculite (V) –ciclopiroxolamine (CPA) was used as nanofiller. CPA is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent with additional antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activities. Primarily, antimicrobial properties of prepared nanocomposites were tested against Candida albicans.
