Annotation	On the basis of numerical simulations, the comparisons of turbulent characteristics in mixing tanks equipped with a saw-tooth impeller and a Rushton turbine are shown in this contribution. Numerical simulations were performed using the LES model, which is implemented in the OpenFoam environment.
