Die Blütezeit für die böhmische Kanonien der Augustiner-Chorherren war unter der Regierung Karl IV., aber diese Stimmung erhielt auch unter der Regierung Wenzel IV. Man kann sagen, dass der Orden für Luxemburgen und ihre Zietgenossen etwa die gleiche Bedeutung hatte, welche im Zeit der letzten Přemysliden für Zisterzienser bestimmt wurde. Dieser Aspekt wurde wohl auch in der Bibliotheken reflektiert, obwohl wir sollen uns immer wieder marken, dass erhaltene Menge der mittelalterlichen Kodices nur relativen Aussagenwert hat. Nochmal sollen wir uns fragen, wie aktiv die Chorherren selbst dazu beigetragen haben, die Bücher zu vermehren. Im Vortrag wird vor allem über die illuminierten Handschriften aus Sadská, trotzdem die Kodizes aus Roudnice nad Labem / Raudnitz, Jaroměř / Jaromir, Karlov / Karlshof und Třeboň / Wittingau werden auch kurz erwähnt. Description in English In compaism to other countries, Augustinian canons arrived in Bohemia relatively late, in 1333. Augustinian Canonries in the Czech lands flourished during the reign of Charles IV and were maintained by King Wenceslas IV. The importance of the Augustinian Canons to the Luxembourg monarchs is equivalent to that of the Cistercians in the time of latter Přemyslids. Despite the paucity of surviving medieval manuscripts, this importance is reflected by contemporary library collections. There is also the question of how actively the canons themselves helped to preserve the quantity of books. The study focuses on the illuminated manuscripts made for Sadská, Roudnice nad Labem, Jaroměř, Karlov and Třeboň.
