As adhesion of the catalytic layer is very important, we focused on its preparation by plasma sputtering. The effect of various preparation conditions on properties of the resulting catalysts was studied and the catalysts activity in deep oxidation of ethanol was examined. Their performance were compared with that of the catalyst prepared by conventional impregnation method. Apart from catalitic activity, properties of the supported catalysts were characterized by XRD, SEM, TPR, and Raman spectroscopy.
