Kritizuje utilitarismus, kantovskou etiku a liberálně individualistické pojetí osoby a usiluje o vymezení ideje osoby jakožto zahrnuté do pečujících vztahů k jiným osobám. Příspěvek se zabývá pojmem péče (jak ho prezentuje V. Held) a jeho vztahem k pojmu lásky, který předložil E. Fromm a ve kterém péče, odpovědnost, úcta a znalost jsou čtyři nezbytné složky lásky. V tomto světle se pojem péče, tak jak je koncipován v etice péče, jeví jako neúplný a nedává kritéria nebo metody jak vyvážit zřetel péče a spravedlnosti (k tomu je nutná právě i znalost). Přínosy etiky péče lze nalézt v důrazu na vztahovou podstatu osoby a zároveň i v oblasti profesionální pečovatelské praxe. Tyto dva diskursy jsou v ní spojovány se zřetelem na feministické východisko. Description in English The ethics of care effort to establish a new kind of moral theory based on experience of caring relations, and it is connected with feministic movement. It criticizes the utilitarianism, Kantian ethics and liberal individualistic concept of person and aims to establish the idea of person as included in caring relations to other persons. The paper considers the concept of care (as presented by V. Held) and its relation to the concept of love, as presented earlier by E. Fromm, in which the care, responsibility, respect, and knowledge are four necessary components of love. In view of this, the concept of care in the ethics of care is incomplete, and it does not give any criteria or methods how to counterbalance care and justice (as the aspects of knowledge are missing). Contributions of ethics of care can be found in the concept of person as included in relations, and also in the sphere of professional care practice. These two discourses are associated due to the feminist foundations of ethics of care.
